The Peachland Volkssport Club was chartered in Kelowna in 1996. Since membership was mostly local, the club formally moved to Peachland in March 2000. From a small original core group the club has grown rapidly to a current membership of 75 walkers.

Peachland is located on the western shore of Lake Okanagan, 25 km from Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. With our beautiful beaches and surrounding mountains, we have the perfect setting for the non-competitive, family oriented, outdoor activities of Volkssporting.

Please join us on one of our walks. Fall and winter we walk 5 to 10 kms on Sunday afternoons and on occasion cross country ski. Spring and summer walks are every other Wednesday evening and we usually have a longer hike (woods trails) on alternate Sunday mornings. Our Volkssport members enjoy the unique opportunity of spending time with others in healthy outdoor activity as well as the fellowship of social events.
